I’d love to be able to choose something other than 32 bit in record window. My audio IO as all others records in 24 bit so I feel I am wasting disc space as I mostly capture all sounds from other instruments. Seems this option is available elsewhere in the app but not for recording audio.

Haven’t added an option, but will use the driver’s reported bit depth for recorded samples in the next beta. So if the driver claims its internal sample format is 16 bit, the resulting sample will be 16 bit too.
For drivers which do not support this (or for example Jack on Linux) it will be 32bit to avoid loosing precision in the recorded data.
