if you are using Native Instruments Kontakt 1.2.1 or above versions and are playing large samples, you may experience crackles duraing playing.
Since 1.2.1, a DirectFromDisk option tries to address this problem.
Also, a “Bounce” button will appear on the top right of the GIU when using Kontakt on hosts which can have problems such as sound dropouts during rendering.
ReNoise seems to be one of those, and indded you can try switching the Bounce option on when you are going to render a song to WAV and see if if helps.
If it doesn’t, the only available options are:
- buying more RAM
- render an instrument at time (using the “render on separate WAVs” ReNoise option won’t help of course)
