Howdy all, I’m shopping around for a “no frills” keyboard and this might be it. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/microKEY237--korg-microkey-37-keyboard-controller

All I need is mod and pitch wheels and decent keys for my work. I don’t have an aggressive playing style, (Actually I have no keyboard style at all, I’m a guitarist :slight_smile: ) mostly noodling around with ideas and riffs. I have to plug it into a linux box but I think the USB will work.

Anyone using either the 25, 37 or 61 key versions? Most of the on-line reviews are positive but I’d like to hear your impressions if you have a moment.

I’ve had the 37 key version for years and I like it a lot. The only thing I can compare it to at that price is the Arturia Keystep, which has nicer keys (and aftertouch), but fewer of them. I’ve never used these on Linux, but its all class-compliant USB Midi, so they should just work.
