imagine an instrument composed by 4, 8, 16… different samples layered
it will be wonderful if there is an option (chord cycle…) where you can play staccato chord, and each time you press a chord, the actual sample played is only one, the same for all the notes in the chord,
just like is on korg wavestation.

Although I wonder how well it would work when playing live, you never hit the keys exactly at the same time.
I guess if the notes were (input-)quantized, it could be done?
But, for a start, purely as a feature for playing back notes it would be great.
