Lfodevice In Time With The Bpm ?

how do i sync the cycle of my lfodevice to be in time with the tempo of my pattern ?

i remember there was an old thread on this but just cant find it sorry

help ?

The “TPC” in the LFO’s frequency stands for “Ticks Per Cycle”. Assuming you are using speed 6 (6 ticks per pattern row) in your song, you can match up the LFO’s frequency something like this:

6 TPC = 1 full LFO rotation per pattern row
3 TPC = 1 full rotation every 2 rows
2 TPC = 1 : 3
1.5 TPC = 1 : 4
1 TPC = 1 : 6
0.75 TPC = 1 : 8
0.5 TPC = 1 : 12
0.375 TPC = 1 : 16
0.25 TPC = 1 : 24
0.187 TPC = 1 : 32 (approximately, since the TPC accuracy isn’t high enough to get the perfect 0.1875)

At the start of your pattern I recommend resetting the LFO’s cycle to make it more predictable, which you can do with the command x600. where x is the number of the LFO device in the DSP chain.

Hope this helps.
