Hey
I currently run Renoise on my Macbook Pro M1 and it works fantastically. I am however also starting to set up Linux on it to get away from the big Apple. The Linux build I am using (on the Mac M1) is Fedora Asahi 43 with KDE plasma desktop and it’s beautiful. The Asahi team are literally reverse engineering the M1/M2etc Arm64 chips in order for Linux to run on it - a commendable job!
Renoise was the first proper app i installed on it, and I got it working nicely! The only niggle is that the fonts look a bit weird. Not sure if i can do anything about that or not.
My stress however, and reason for posting is regarding Redux. I use Redux as my universal sampler so that i can use my renoise programs in different Daws (Bitwig/reaper etc), i’ve spent a long time building a nice library that Redux can use. But …. I don’t think it exists for Linux Arm64?
Is there any plan for Redux to work on Linux? I really hope so ![]()
