Indeed a pity, LGPL would have been a more suitable license for his code material.

i can do quite a bit with the mda synth plugs like the jx synth and the epiano.

but, actually making synthe sounds in a pattern is very easy.
load some wave types like triangle, noise and a sine, load some filters & effects in the dsp and enter some control commands, play with levels, tune it all together and you can have a really great synthe pad.
here is an example doing this:

i could link the XRNS later on per your request.

Ok, thanks guys! I didn’t know there was a synth among mda plugs, ha! (I thought they were all fx.)

It was quite interesting to study the links you’ve provided, especially Aspect synth (thanks IT-Alien!)

But, since I’m not much inclined to buy any commercial plugins now tha I’ve switched to Linux, instead I bought a Boss SYB5 Bass Synthesizer pedal, and now I can synthesize pretty much any basic signal with just my fretless bass and my fingers!
:drummer: :yeah:
MEET MY LITTLE KNOBBY FRIEND!

The rest is quite familiar to me: the envelopes, filters etc.

Ok, NOW I’m quite satisfied.
Thanks again, folks, for educating info. You all rule! :walkman:
