Live Dive Launchpad: problem with send/receive

Hi all,

I’m enjoying Live Dive for Launchpad a lot, but I’m having a problem: often when I start it up, the pad will receive but not send data.

That is, it shows the clip layout and reflects any changes I make using the onscreen grid (e.g., upcoming clips flash yellow), but pressing the buttons on the Launchpad doesn’t do anything.

I’ve tried the following fixes, each one of which seemed to work for a while but then turned out not to:

  • Reverted from Renoise 2.8.2 to 2.8.1
  • Plugged the Launchpad Mini directly into a MBP USB port (instead of into portable hub)

Has anyone had this experience, and/or found a fix? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Found possible solution–Launchpad must be plugged in before Renoise starts. I’ll see if it holds up…

MBP Retina, OS X 10.8.5, Renoise 2.8.1 (see above), Launchpad Mini; installed Novation USB Driver 2.5

Hmm…Try getting in touch with Cie (who made the Live Dive tool) ?
