I use Rolling sampler in renoise and Global Sampler in reaper all the time.
What does it do ?
Sample everything that is played no matter if the track was armed and the waveform can be dragged to a new instrument. Rolling /Global Sample is a real time saver for resampling. It can catch “happy sccidents” like changing the fx order, something weird happens but it doesn’t reproduce. That sampler has that data in the buffer.
It would fit nicely in the Renoise UI in the Analyzer / Goniometer /Track view window.
