Load Next Song

I don’t know if it’s hard to implent, but I have an Idea for Improving Renoise on stage.

I was wandering trough the short-cut key combo’s and came up with the Idea that it would be great if you can make a short-cut that every time loads the next song in the same directory.

This way you can make a nice order of your song before the performance.
like:
1 songname.rns
2 songname.rns
3 songname.rns
and so on…

If you choose to play a different order during the performance you can always manually load it like normal.

LCTRL+LALT+rightArrow => moves cursor from disk browser to file browser

LCTRL+LALT+up/downArrow => moves cursor amongst the files

LCTRL+LALT+Enter => loads the file

try it: just use LCTRL+LALT+down and LCTRL+LALT+Enter and the next song will be loaded.

This works fine indeed, But when there is an evelope chancing a parameter
Renoise Will prompt a requester to save the file before loading a new one.(like in your ‘ThePath2005’)
this is very anoying.

Or is there a way around this

Y for Yes, N for No :)

you wouldn’t find it that annoying when you will load a song by accident :rolleyes:
