I have my sample collection on pCloud with a 100 Mbps download speed. When I load samples (do not have to be large) into Renoise, Renoise sometimes hangs and I have to kill it, because it does not recover by itself. Even after pressing “wait”. Same happens with Reaper.
Seems pCloud transfer is sometimes pretty slow. As a first solution I set the timeout value higher from 5 s to 30 s as described here via the dconf editor:
Download speed is 100 Mbps when I make the speed test for pCloud, but when copying files from the terminal it takes sometimes forever. Maybe they limited something and if it does not get better I’ll write them an email.
