I’m getting very lusty for the Logitech G15 keyboard for a number of reasons. For one, it has full n-key rollover. I was wondering if anyone had written any display components for using it with Renoise.
If not, is anyone using a G15 or similar keyboard with Renoise, or considering getting one? What kind of info do you think would be useful in the display? I might write some kind of minimal display that could be used when I don’t feel like having the monitor on. Maybe a 1 or 2 track, 3 or 4 step display for the pattern editor, then a pattern sequencer display, maybe a DSP parameter display too and a list of samples/instruments. Obviously more graphical, mouse-driven elements like envelope editing would be pretty much impossible, but it would be nice for some simple jamming without having the monitor on.
