I looking for new laptop. Watch in 17 inch displays direction. Some USB ports and card reader as well.
This is for basic tasks like text typing, Renoise using and editing video, like cut - glue some pieces of video.
My question is: did someone use this one:

What about screen brightness?
Do not buy that shit. i5 minimum for the processor. 300 nits screen brightness for FHD minimum and you are fine.

I also would take 16 GB RAM at least. If you can afford it look at the T14 series from Lenovo. L or E series should also be fine when you handle it with more care.

I understand that this laptop is not perfect. For now I stuck in 600 € limit. For example, here is another one for this price - Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17ALC6 17.3".
!7 inch display and card reader is important for me. I still try find some solution. Maybe some used laptop is good as well…

Not bad. Strong one. But NumPad absent, also screen size is to small.
And DUBLE price in my country.
it can be difficult to find a reasonably priced laptop with a 17 inch screen. 14-15 inch screens are so much more common in those. If the screen size is not an absolute requirement, then for 600 euros you can certainly find a good laptop for music production
