Had to go back to try Renoise 2.8 again to be sure I wasn’t losing my mind.
My old workflow included a sample editor that I could select a section and playback looped. I thought this was a part of Renoise, so coming back after a little hiatus without my external editors I’m a little shocked that waveform previewing is so limited. I would like an option to:
- Have the ability to midi map the sample preview play button in waveform view
- Have the ability to loop the selection of sample in waveform view (for dialing in on perfect loops/single cycles)
Should be pretty easy to drop into the next version =). Haven’t seen this request yet.
