Would be great if someone (preferable those who have lots of VST plugs), could send us the “CachedVsts.xml” file that can be found at “YOURHOMEDIR/Library/Application Support/Renoise/”.
This file stores basic information about installed VSTs, which are collected on the very first start of Renoise. It doesnt contain any personal information, just take a look into the file if you are unsure.
We need this file, to avoid the long startup times when running Renoise the first time, to prevent that buggy plugs crash Renoise, and to setup good defaults for the VST options that are available via this file.
