I would rather not go and manually set/unset quarantine bits - is there a way to tell renoise to like. Not do this?

Thanks!
jneen

EDIT: To clarify, I don’t use ReWire and I am not interested in using ReWire. I’ve removed everything ReWire-related I can find in /Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software and in ~/Library/Application Support/Propellerhead Software and rebooted, and this still happens.

This doesn’t look like a ReWire or OSX quarantine issue.

CoreMIDI: Creating client ‘Renoise’…

This here means that Renoise is creating a virtual MIDI input port, which other applications can use to send MIDI to Renoise. This usually doesn’t take long, so there’s something fishy going on here on your side. Have you installed some other “virtual MIDI” tools?

I’m experiencing this issue too. I found somewhere else a post saying to trash Renoise and reinstall but that didn’t help. Interested to see a fix.

Not to my knowledge! I occasionally use an AKAI mixing rack and plug in my Korg SV1 to use as MIDI controllers, but that’s all hardware. Is there a standard place this would go?
