Manually MIDI map without MIDI controller

Instead of turning a knob on a controller I want to manually select a MIDI CC and a channel to modulate a parameter inside Renoise. Is this possible?
The reason is: I want to control parameters by a midi input from another program. But it’s not easy (or not possible) to send just one midi signal that i want to the “learn mode” in Renoise

can you be more specific. is this what you want to do?

Pure Data → midi out → renoise receives it, modifies a parameter inside renoise?

or
Renoise slider → midi out → Pure Data receives it and changes something?

i’ve been having a great deal of fun using PD and mapping in learn mode, one slider from PD at a time to a function inside Renoise.
all i do is arm Renoise MidiMappings to Learn Mode, select a feature, tweak the slider in PD, and click on the next feature inside Renoise.

is this what you’re after?

edit: but if you want to actually go, within Renoise “this midi input device, this midi channel this midi CC, do this” then no, can’t be done within the gui at least.

crap:(

The program is Medinous. It sends several midi signals at once when i use the controller i want. So in Learn mode renoise shows only the last one which is not what i need. I’ll try to do something in medinous but I don’t think it will be straightforward

haven’t tried, but can’t this be done with a virtual midi cable? e.g. virtualMIDI | Tobias Erichsen or reaper’s reastream (via REAPER | ReaPlugs) ?

I think the following will do most of the work, but I will have to check to see if it can actually be done.
