Mentalized yamaha dd-7

So i started bending and modding this DD-7 i got after i saw the yamaha dd-7 drum samples post on the forums.

this is the update post announcing my plans for it.

UPDATE :

i have added the 38 way patchbay and done a reclock with an adjustable slow setting and fast setting. i have added the GND or 5V switch and two more 50k pots that are yet to be allocated, 2 more empty holes that are yet to be filled.

all that’s left is to experiment a bit with the pots and then solder it all up.

i will post pics upon completion as well as some sounds, it will just be an audio file but you will be free to use it as you please, chop it up and do whatever with it!

this should be completed by today or maybe the next so bookmark it and keep your eyes peeled for some mentalized sounds!!!

I’m not sure if this was fun or not, i wasn’t really paying that much attention to it as i was soldering (:P)

Now you know that it’s done, expect some samples soon!!!

THIS IS TWO MINUTES OF MILDLY MENTALIZED SOUNDS FROM THIS DD-7.

circuit bending is not just about adding loops and pitch shifts :wink:

if you use these sounds please credit me (athough you don’t have to should you not want too).

if you make a track with these sounds or including them, please post it in this thread as i would love to hear it.
