If I change the target instrument in a midi control device by stepping thru, it will completely destroy the settings of all vst/midi instruments that are on my way.
Could it be possible that the midi control device does not send all settings while changing the target immediately, but on next play? Or immediately, if I change any other parameter but not the target instrument.
Or even better, if the device disables on change of target instrument, until I press play or click on “disable/enable”? also a pasted midi control device should be disabled by default…
