I’m thinking about buying a CME UF 5 midi controller/keyboard and i have a question about using the knobs in Renoise.
When i map the knobs to control a vst parameter and i the go to another channel wit a different vst, will knob assaignments then also change.
So that i can use one controller knob for more parameters when selecting a different channel/vst.
I hope this is clear for everyone, having a had time explaning this in English
If you pick another channel:yes you can use the same knob for other actions.
But it is more wise to assign your midi-knobs to different CC messages and then switch the midi-message on your midi-equipment. This last thing is ofcourse bound to the possibility of your midi equipment to do this.
Just think:
you only have 16 channels but you have 121 CC messages you can switch between (per channel).
