Midi from Vcv2 = Homeless Instrument?

So i’m triggering samples in renoise from vcv2 vst,
it works just fine with midi routing from vcv instrument to a drumkit instrument, super fun !

However I can’t seem to find a way to make the drumkit instrument play on a track,
it’s only playing on the master track

Had a similar problem with 303 vst’s, got it working by entering a note in the track but no luck here

Am i missing something?

triggering vcv instrument gives shelter to drumkit instrument as well !

I haven’t tested this with VCV specifically, but the cleaner way to do this is to specify the audio routing directly on the Plugin tab of the instrument. It’s not visible by default, you need to expand it, but once you do you can explicitly assign outputs from the plug-in to specified tracks.
