Midi Import And The Delay Column

When importing a midi file Renoise 2 seems to be limiting itself to the Dx command instead of using the new delay column

Yes, until we have a full features pattern zooming with also more precise note cuts/note offs, tick based note delays in combination with tick based note offs/cuts are easier handle IMHO… Also I was too lazy to redesign the MIDI import to work with note delays.

Renoise already uses the delay column here since ages. Have you tried it?

is it possible to, when importing midi, to auto-enable showing of Delay Column? (and i guess Volume Column!?) This would work with the “make things visible” ethos of showing the user what they imported, instead of “not quite, unless if they know which columns to make visible”
would be pretty userfriendly!
