i can import a midi file but there no notes and no intrument names !?6261 The Christmas Song.zip
The MIDI file does contain some notes, but they do not actually show up until around pattern 267. Could be a slight bug with the import, or just a weirdly formatted MIDI file, not sure.
Please also remember to set a default device for MIDI import:

Do you have some other audio software open that may already be using the device?
