Hi. I’m using an old Clavinova CLP-153SG as a MIDI input to Renoise. Renoise seems to respond to the program change command by default, which is sent by the voice change buttons on the Clavinova. However, I don’t want to change the program with those buttons; I want to instead change either the instrument or the current track. But when I try to map these in the MIDI Mapping dialog, it still just changes the program. It shows “Channel 16, CC 91” when I press the voice change buttons, which makes no sense to me (I am a MIDI beginner though). What am I doing wrong?
You could try unchecking the “Program changes” checkbox in the Record and Play filter of the midi preferences…
