MIDI setup

So I bought the Novation Launchkey 25, and now just rigging it up to Renoise. A couple of questions:

• In Preferences - MIDI - what do I set the MIDI Clock Master to? The Launchkey or none? Not quite sure how this works; Renoise is Master Clock, right?

- Same with MIDI Clock Slave - set as None or Launchkey? From what i read I set this as None as the Launchkey makes no noise

• Also, how do I map something for EVERY song (such as the transport controls) - rather than needing to remap every new song? Looks like I need a template songhttp://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Template_Song

Grateful for any other tips for setting up.

Maybe it’s just because I’m a MIDI dumbfuck, but I’d imagine MIDI clock wouldn’t really have any use with this controller since it’s not a sequencer (to my knowledge).

I would probably try leaving renoise as the MIDI clock master by setting the “out device” to the launchkey.
