Not 100% what you’re looking for I guess, but I made an overview topic some time ago about how I organize my tracks when working with hardware, to benefit from MIDI features when I’m writing with the synths plugged but also be able to work with audio only when it’s not the case

Using hardware synths with Renoise, my method

After a few weeks starting with hardware synthetizers, I streamlined a process to be able to use my synths effectively with Renoise, keeping their perks but properly including those in a software environment. Felt like it could be shared to help people that uses those. Don’t hesitate to ask questions, or propose new ideas, always open to improve my workflow !
