I was thinking about what features a basic good programmer’s editor have, and I realised that one thing that could quite easily be adapted to Renoise is a minimize function, for plugins. For an example, once you’ve set up your LFOs for a track, you don’t really need to see all the sliders and parameters in the effects list.
I made some proof-of-concept pictures but I don’t know how to include them
