if possible (heh) I’d love to see a dedicated mixer screen in Renoise where one has the typical parameters of each track side by side just like a real mixer. Plus I wouldn’t set the volume of a new track to 0db. The way it is at the moment there’s absolutely no headroom unless you use the gainer plugin.

Not useless, but it has been mentioned before several times.
to be honest mixing the way you have to do it with the current version is a shit pain and I don’t bother to use an audio sequencer which doesn’t even feature a simple kind of mixer. The current solution might work for people who don’t know how to use a mixer but it definitly doesn’t work for me. When I’m mixing a song and are changing any parameter for any track I’m doing this on corelation with the parameters of other tracks. Therefore I want all necessary parameters of every track on one screen. It can’t be that I have to click and press a zillion times just to change two volumes!!

I’m not surprised since a mixer is the one really missing feature in Renoise which prevents it from being a professional audio software. A mixer screen is simply a must. Even the cheapest midi sequencers have a simple mixer implemented! I’m sure the devs already know that. At least I hope so.
