Modal VST3 for hardware synth does not show

Hi fam!

I just got a modal cobalt 8 hardware synth which comes with a VST3 interface and a standalone inteface (which works no prob). I can open the VST3 in Ableton but it won’t show in the VST plugins on renoise (yes i installed in the right vst directory, yes i allowed renoise to have vst3) Do you have any idea about wtf is going on?

Sometimes ‘scan’, and after scan, quit Renoise and restart computer. Not a guarantee, but sometimes works. Often the OS needs it for some reason.

Same problem for soft synth on Linux!

OK i found the solution, i installed it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 instead of my normal vst directory and it works!
