I also want to second this request. My Yamaha KX MIDI Controller has an DAW Controlling interface for interacting and editing in Cubase and some other DAW solutions. Would be nice if this can be done also with renoise.

Furthermore it would be nice to assign/learn midi-keystrokes in the Keys-Preferences window.

Setting up a default song at the moment connected to my bcr2000 midi controller. While it is cool I can emulate muting a channel by assigning the mixer volume sliders to different bcr-buttons, where button pressed ‘on’ is max, and ‘off’ is minimum…

…I really miss being able to solo tracks by the flick of a button. Great for live action.

Can’t wait till all gui-input boxes / sliders are assignable!
