My first attempt at a track with vocals; I wrote the basics of the track and found an acapella online that was a decent fit, and then went on to adapt the track around it. It was totally produced and mastered in Renoise, though I used rubberband to re-speed the original vocal.
What do you think? Your ideas and criticisms appreciated so that I can improve

Your English is fine, but I’m not sure I understand what “high note” you mean.
There isn’t anything starts at 1:00. Unless you do not like the hook at 0:55?
