anyone know how to get renoise to read mp4 files on linux? and is it possible anyway? never been able to figure this out

I don’t think it does. There are loads of tools that can though:
VLC provides a GUI to extract audio.
ffmpeg can do it from the command line.
Both these tools can convert to MP3, WAV etc.
Yeah. i know i can convert it with ffmpeg or vlc and so (-;
But would be nice if it would be possible without converting… better not to convert hehe.
Maybe i should add it as request for upcoming releases \o/
