Multi-take Recording

I just saw a video of the new Garageband and it now has a feature called Multi-Take Recording that Renoise could benefit from.

A third option, Sync start & stop [Pattern, Multi-Take] could stack each recording as a new sample-slot in the selected instrument.

I think that would be an awesome idea as well - it would really help.
