howdy everyone it’s been ages since i’ve been on the board. (shoutout to mr dollin, bugonshoe, kaneel, mickrip, and anyone else i’ve forgotten).
this is a new tune from my coming-soon albumish-length release on THEM Records. it’s completely unmastered and thrown together quickly. all of the tune was done in renoise except for the acapella which i added with ableton live. i used battery 3 and Massive.
awesome track back atcha bro. mix is rough like you stated, but the composition is sick, totally laid back. the bass and the rhodes are totally behind the beat and i love it. vocals are strange, interesting sound, i dunno if i’d go for the pitched down thing the whole way through, but it’s got a nice effect in certain places. overall a great track man.
