So finally I managed to finish a song for mutant breaks. Found this spliff session in early state in my song directory and now finished it more or less. Strange combinations, obviously inspired by a the “stereo” mind-blowing, super-inspiring movie’s song “new error” by moderat. Ok let’s call it a just-for-fun copy-cat-session

Ah, well sir, I usually start off trying to find the corner pieces and straight edges in the puzzle, then I… It’s mutant breaks midi error! A small touch of magic can happen

Hello everybody, chiming in to post my entry:

I’ve upped the challenge for myself a little, and created the whole track from start to finish only using Renoise itself, i.e. all sound design was done internaly (no external samples, I’ve used kai selection shaper+resampling) and I only used native devices, so no vst in this one at all (but to be fair, I used external metering plugins during mixing process).
So yeah, enjoy and see You during the voting phase.
Edit. I’ve also added WIP version (its a bit older than final project), with all the raw material.

Yup, everything was done from basic waveforms generated by selection shaper. I have all the raw building blocks in a work in progress version that is x6 bigger in size (Its a mess of course and I’ve kept only used instruments in final posted xrns), I can also upload that If You guys want it.

Hi folks! Is it too late to enter, or does the deadline end tomorrow midnight?

The deadline is Sunday, midnight, eastern standard time (the actual deadline is Monday morning when I reply to the thread with some sort of “done” message.)
All: please check those rules on the first page. Mostly, I need to be able to download the track for it to qualify. If you share the XRNS before the deadline you get a x3 multiplier. Don’t stress too much about the XRNS plugins. If people don’t have them then so what? That’s not your problem The XRNS is to showcase real Renoise usage, not BBS mod files. The effort to make it native is appreciated though.
After the deadline, it will take me a day to make the vote pack (unless I wake up on Monday and a volunteer has done it for us?). Voting starts on Tuesday. Ends Saturday night or until all participants have voted,
