I use the multitap delay all the time because it just near perfect, simple to use and sounds amazing .
The only thing it misses is a frequency shifter in the feedback loop (not a pitch shifter ) , the dsp code for a frequency shifter is super easy and the mt delay already has a dropdown + frequency slider for the other filter types .
I’s a win- win scenario , when setting delay time to 0ms and no feedback we get a free frequency shifter as effect to
Do it ;0 !
And happy new year to everybody

A native frequency shifter is something ive been asking for for a long time now. I love how otherworldly (at best) and plain unhinged (also at best, lol) they sound. Cluster Delay by Minimal Audio has this built in, you can also build this out with Snapheap by Kilohearts.

Yes I would love to see native pitch shifting, frequency shifting, and vocoding DSP at some point. They seem like real omissions
But why not use Bitwig’s delay, since it provides dsp slot for the feedback buffer…?
