My best buy since Renoise !

u-he zebra and diva!

Mine is maschine mikro, thats the shit! got it new ~200$ with komplete elements some vst synths and massive, best deal evoor.
also one of my favorite soft synths is draw sample function in renoise, very powerfull tool

The best two things I’ve ever purchased as far as music equipement, were Renoise, and a ca. 1981 Tokai Hard Puncher bass - a faithfull Fender Precision bass copy. I bought it following an advice from my teacher, who recommended that I try a classic bass to complement my much more modern and complicated Spector. I was sceptical, but after playing the Tokai for a while I fell in love with it. I love it so much nowadays, that I even made myself a logo in the shape of it’s pickup.

I think it was $1.99 Pixi Tracker for Android :)
Now I’m able to sketch my ideas with my phone no matter where and when . I found it extremely useful.
…and my daughter loves to play with it :)

A years subscription to Groove3, without a doubt. The Timothy Allan videos are great for electronic music plus a load of other tutorials for mixing song-writing etc. Wish It had been around 10 years ago, it would have saved me a lot of frustration!

They do have regular sales so if anyones interested so it`s worth keeping an eye out.

best buy for me: sunvox + a galaxy nexus

actually had me doodling (not claiming you can make finished tracks on mobiles yet) music again. i love interacting with music software with mouse, keyboard and midi instruments but i never get the time to sit down with all that these days. the phone on the other hand; it’s with me at all times.

+1 for audulus. I knew I’d seen you somewhere before, afta8 :D

Arturia MiniBrute. It’s an awesome little analog monosynth with lots of character and a price tag that’s easy on the wallet.
Live 9 Suite. It’s been my go-to music program for the last 6 years, and the latest version has loads of improvements over 7 and 8. And Tension and Collision are two incredible physical-modeling synths. I wish Ableton would release VST/AU versions so I could bring them over to Renoise when the tracking bug bites me.

spending $5 (which parlayed into a further $10 voucher) on computer music online edition, and picking up DuneCM, ZebraCM, etc… oh, also the issue when they began including Hornet FET compressor. i ended up with something like 3 issues. 189, 190 (the one where hornet first appeared), and the ‘special plugins issue’… all for $5. all told, it is a lot of plug-ins. it turned out there was a lot of redundancy with what i already had, but there were definitely several new gems.

another bargain was when de la mancha was still in business, and had a sale with everything at 70% off… picked up several cool plug-ins in the $5-$10 apiece range.

Haha, yes likewise… Good to see you joining the Renoise massive! :D

For now i use drumatic 4 in demo mode and sample it by renoise. I love drumsynth and drumatic4 is one of the best.

z3ta dwelt 4ever darkly on many trance trax and dubstep trax.

Yea, i say unto thee, there was sylenth but before was z3ta.

Yea, i say unto thee, there was massive but before was z3ta.

And yea, in seven days there came all life onto urth, but before that there was z3ta.

4ever and ever, amen.

Declaring your love for a VST - You are doing it right.

a nice pair of green trousers

Nope, nobody needs VSTs.

I’ve got the 1-bit version and sunvox. Both incredibly awesome. To bad the headphone jack on my phone broke 1 month after I bought it :(/>

Just a matter of personal taste. What matters is what you release on the song-forum ;)

Yes, really one of the best. Stop using the demo and go support the dev now! ;)

Even tho it was free renoise 3.0 is my best buy since renoise 2.8 :P

A hat.
