My new IDM / electronica album - Starship Interiors by TV HWY

Hi renoise friends,

Today I have released my new IDM / electronica album – ‘Starship Interiors’ by TV HWY.

Full Disclosure: I made this album in Ableton Live 10. However! All of the drum / rhythm sequences were done using Renoise Redux. The combination of Live + Redux is, for me, the ultimate ‘best of both worlds’ approach to making electronic music.

Listened through twice in a row. This album is awesome, thanks for sharing!

On the technical side, it’s an interesting parallel. For me the ideal is full Renoise running in Bitwig Studio. Lines per beat modulated by envelopes and an LFO. :laughing: I get pretty close with ReWire, but sadly its developers are “retiring” the technology. So I may get Redux after all, unless Renoise becomes a full VSTi – that would be amazing.

Anyway, great music, Michael – I second what lilith said. :slight_smile:

Bitwig + Renoise sounds like an awesome, combo, too. Those modulation possibilities are amazing in there, and now they have that awesome ‘Grid’. Good times!
