When ppl review my tracks i often hear they think some synth layers on my tracks sound flat.
I’m very happy with these pointers, I’m always open to that so i can improve my sound… but how do I fix this problem?..
I compose my tracks in Renoise, then render seperate channels to wav to master them in a sequencer. (doesnt matter wich one)
I’m looking for tips&tricks on how to make your synth, choir, ensemble sound less flat, when mastering the seperate track…
my question is same… my problem is that i dont have any sequencer… i do all the mixing in renoise (with PSP Wintage warmer as comp. and PSP Master Q as EQ) and final master (Compression of whole mix, and volume maximize in soundforge… )
so far i have solid results … (but with lots time spent on adjusting)… http://www.renoise.com/songs.php?pg=artist&id=602 i think that i’ve got best results in “reserved to us” tune … please tell me what do you think about quality of that tune(s) and what do you sugest to use for mastering… what software…what method…
@Kcirr3d
i’ve personaly found audigy2 live documentation on music production very useful…
I forgot to mention that i also use PSP Vintage Warmer and T-racks in renoise masterchannel. For more pressure (compressor, etc) and EQ
I’l down your song… sounds good and professional. The snare is a little too loud in the mix for my taste. but i can’t say anything about flatness… cuz i don’t know exactly what that is. I get to hear that some of my tracks have flat synths… and i can’t fix that if i dont know what is meant by that.
