found this today, the Neuron VS synth (vst) is now available for free, only for Mac!

It’s an Intel build for VST 2.3 and seems to work with Renoise.
btw you can control the two morph xy pads using the automation device. And you should disable the controller by writing this line to terminal:
defaults write com.Hartmann-Music.NeuronVS "userEnableNukeController" -int 0
