Hi,
I was searching for information about clip launchers, and found a Renoise tool named Cells, which I never heard off.
Unfortunately, like all clip launching tools I do know, it’s deprecated since 2.8
Are there any other clip launcher tools I never heard of that do work?
It would be so awesome to use Renoise live that way, the thought keeps hunting me for over a decade now 
I probably know the answer, but I missed Cells too.

Might want to check out my tool launch_lanes it is focused on using the Pattern Matrix to allow clip-launching-like playback via its dialog and your keyboard.
I think it definitely has merit but there is also a lot of possibilities unexplored, in particular control via MIDI.

I now just saw that I even replied on the discussion about launch_lanes, but I assure you, I can’t remember the tool or replying to the discussion, not good
I’m going to try it tonight, I’m just wondering, can this tool also combine tracks from different tracks? IE track 1 from pattern 1 and track 2 from pattern 3? Sure looks like it when I see the demo.
Yes, that is the main goal of the tool.
