Edit: The zip linked in the first post now contains a modified version for the new Renoise Beta. (It was missing characters for the new effects commands)

how did you manage to create a FON file?
i can’t seem to find anything that can make or convert into FON format for mac

You can use softy font editor on windows to create .fon files. I’ve done this myself. It’s a bit oldschool and esoteric but it can be done. This was years ago though, by now I’m sure there has to be a better way
Yep. Fontstruct!
trash80 even mentioned it earlier this thread.
Very fun tool!
thanx guys
i have a font that i wanted to convert, but i wil give Fonstruct a try for sure. thanx again guys!
update:
tried Fonstruct
pretty cool
only problem is that it only creates TruType fonts (.ttf) not .FON files, which is what renoise uses for the pattern fonts
sadness
i will try to get a hold of a pc and try Softy Font editor i guess
crazy i can’t believe i can’t find a .FON converter on MAC

Ah I thought he just found his font there.
That’s awesome that you can use only the web to make fonts now!
Let me know if you need some assistance with the .fon editing in softy. It’s kind of confusing.
Hey guys! How I can change from a huge font to big, small or norm? Thnx
That looks great.

Nice font, thanks.
If you want to create .fon pixel files fast, I don’t know about any program easier than Fony (Win only, or Linux+Wine).
These are really awesome looking
