New Song By It-alien: "octopus' Lair"

I’ve released a new song called “Octopus’ Lair”.

It will take part to the Renoise BeatBattle 5 thematic competition (http://www.renoise.com/BeatBattle5/), which theme this time was “Underwater”.

You can download the song both in OGG or XRNS (Renoise) formats:

this is a 7’14" long space rock song, in which I’ve recorded drums, bass and theremin played by myself, since BeatBattle 5 was aimed at showing one of the major new features of Renoise version 1.8, which is the ability to record from live sources. All the other sounds came from the samples included into the samplepack given to all participants.

i like that flowing feeling that u created, beginning at 1:08. i wish you would have used the speed that you made up with the hihats in the intro. but nice drums (as always)!

Yes the recorded drum samples are nice and have given the song a real space rock feel. One of the best entries for BB5 IMO.
