** Note about Crossfade Mix Paste and Sample Clipboard Looper: The current API does not allow the tool to read correctly cursor placement in sample editor, unless it is a selection, so in order for these tools to work properly, when placing the cursor at the desired point in the sample, just make even a tiny selection there in order for the tool to read the cursor “position”.

If you could add a option, that if 2 mono samples are selected it mixes them into one stereo sample, one sample on the left the other on the right without setting the panning in the sample properties first and if you’ve already selected samples in the samples list of the instrument it sets them automatically as first and last sample when opening the tool would be handy
Unfortunately the API does not allow “reading” selected samples when you fire up the tool - this is the way I intended it to function initially, but the limitations don’t allow this. That’s why the tool asks you to select first and last samples from within the dialog.
As for the mono samples, this could only work when only 2 samples are selected. That’s why I added the option to keep pannings when downmixing multiple samples. I recently recorded about 70 samples of my voice and wanted to mix everything into a single stereo sample, so I set random pannings for all the samples before downmixing them. That was the idea that created this tool in the first place.
