What do people just see in using sidechain that way, how can people like that sound at all? As if the kick drum never supposed to be a part of the song but the all mighty powerful sound that has to overrule them all…
I doubt you desire to honor your artist name, but if you do so, then nothing said 
As vV said, this is an awkward use of sidechain compression.
