I just installed a bunch of Uhe plugins, including the new Ubik 2.0 suite. It installs AU, CLAP, and VST3 plugins. I rescan plugins in Renoise 3.5 (MacOS Tahoe on M1), they don’t show up in either AU or VST3. I right click and select show hidden, nothing. I restart Renoise, still nothing. I go to Ableton Live and rescan plugins, it finds them and many more that aren’t showing up in Renoise. What the hell is going on, why are practically none of my plugins showing up?
Mh, did you look under the fx plugins list? Your screenshot shows the instruments plugin list. Those are two separate lists in Renoise.
Well now I just feel silly. Sorry I’m brand new to Renoise and understand nothing. Yeah I see them.
No need to feel silly hehe It’s indeed different to most other DAWs.
I don’t think we necessarily need to get rid of the current way (could remain handy on certain screen estates), but this thread comes up often and imo the design is dated. Perhaps for a future update the whole diskop, way of loading in vst(i) can get an overhaul? Have it more in line with the other daws
