No Automatic Midi Out For A Jack Client?

Hi there,

I just installed Jack and Yoshimi on my netbook. However, When I open renoise, I cannot choose Yoshimi in the Instrument settings. On my other laptop, when opening a jack client, it appears in Renoise’s Midi settings. Any idea what could be the problem?

AFAIK, Yoshimi uses Jack-Midi while renoise uses ALSA-midi.
You should install “a2jmidid”, run it and then ALSA-midi ports will be available as Jack-Midi.
Then use QJackCtl or Patchage to do the connections.
