One sample per track?

So what I want to do is:

Take an old module - file from the 90s and inflate the tracks so there is one track per sample. Route all that into Cubase and mix it there to make it sound amazing and modern and all that.

Is there a command or something to tell the program to “inflate the module so each sample has it’s own track”?

Hi there!

If I understood your aim, I think there’s a tool for that exact purpose. Here’s the discussion thread and here’s the tool page.

Give fladd’s tool a try:
Split Into Separate Tracks

Thank you, very much. Now I will just have to contact “heatbeat of rebels” and tell him about the plan.

From what I gather Aleksi is a cool guy (if somewhat eccentric), I don’t think he’ll mind…
