OSX: Plugin Crashes on Song Load

My Renoise has started crashing all the time, this is the error message.

Any ideas folks?

Hi.

In your menu bar:

  • Help -> Show the log file
  • Double click the .log file to open it in a text editor
  • Paste the relevant portion of the log as part of the bug report.

My guess is a problem with one of your plugins.

edit: to late :)

Hey guys.

I’ll get on this when I’m home from work and let you know what it says.

I really appreciate your help.

best wishes!

Hey manikular,

Does this only happens with a single song or randomly every now and when even with the demo versions?

If this only happens with this one song, could you please first try if this no longer happens after you’ve disabed AU/VST plugins in Renoise? You can do this in Renoises plugin preferences. Then we at least know if a plugin crashes and can then try to find out more.

If this happens even without plugins, could you then please send the file to me (taktik renoise com). I’ll then take a look at this here …

Hey there.

I’ll do some researching for you once I’m home from work. It crashes everytime although I kept on loading the same songfile. My gut feeling is that it is an issue with a VST/AU so I will do a bit of fiddling with those first. I appreciate your help as I use Renoise for commercial purposes (I’ve been using trackers since the early 90’s - old habits die hard!)

thanks again!
