Paste audio from another application into a sample in OSX

I use the audio editorTwistedWave on OS X and really love it.

What I’d LOVE to be able to do:

select a snippet of audio in TW, copy it, and paste it into a sample in Renoise.

Yes, I know I can save that snippet of audio to its own file and load that into Renoise. Or load the whole big original sample in renoise and trim it to just the part I want. So spare me those suggestions :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t even know if this is technically possible… like if the audio data makes it from TW to the OS’s clipboard. But it would certainly speed things up for me even just a bit and make sampling even more convenient!

yeah it doesn’t work on Mac… and according to at least the TW developer, it’s not a common thing for Mac audio editors. So it seems unlikely that this feature will be available to mac any time soon.

I remember seeing something about this in the documentation, and being very jealous of Windows users
